Program Overview

The "Aatma Nirbhar Bharat" vision of our prime minister and the New Education Policy (NEP) have led to changes in conventional education and profession. Hence, the rising requirement for qualified professionals in the areas of Architecture, Construction, Infrastructure, and Environment to coordinate and operate on-site and in-office administration efficiently. Along with this, the RERA Act, the Environment Act, and the Energy Conservation Act (ACT) are just a few of the other new regulations that have an impact on the Construction and Real Estate Industries that require Liasoning experts.

The Diploma in Architecture program is a stepping stone to the construction industry. ADYPSOA offers a dynamic curriculum to young, enthusiastic students who have passed 10th level/std and want to pursue careers in Architecture and Construction. Students will be educated and benefit as per the Council of Architecture, New Delhi (COA) norms and Institutional policies. This course ensures a wide range of job opportunities, which includes the role of Architects' Assistants, Laboratory Assistants, Assistant Coordinators, Liasoning Assistants, Architect’s Office Managers, etc. at Architect offices, Real Estate, Builder, or Government Organizations. The students can eventually start their consultancy in the construction industry as well.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PROGRAM:

• To familiarize with the approval procedure for building permits, NOCs, and other permits under various Acts such as UDCPR, RERA, etc.

• To gain knowledge of functioning at an Architect’s office as per the COA handbook – Manual of Architecture Practice (MAP).

• Learning the skills to implement the design solutions in practically and developing business acumen of the students.

• To read and interpret architectural, construction, and other drawings, as well as plans such as regional and development plans and metropolitan development plans.

• To create relevant drawings for approval, working drawings, submission drawings, GFC, etc.

• To create bills of quantities, specifications, estimation and costing, and rate analysis for the tendering process, etc.

• To conduct sub-contracts of the construction and allied activities on site like centering, electrical, plumbing, etc.

• To acquire the necessary start-up skill sets required for their own production units’ construction industry, product design, and manufacturing.
